A simple setup. A smoother night.

Know what to bring and what to check. This bingo equipment guide covers your Windows laptop, screen, sound, tickets and the small things that save a last-minute rush.

The essentials

Bring a Windows laptop with Balls Out Bingo, its charger, a TV or projector, the right display cable and a sound system. A microphone helps everyone hear you.

Add bingo tickets or books, dabbers or pens, your prize list and any agreed prizes. A Stream Deck is optional.

Connect the picture

Plug in the TV or projector and choose Extend in Windows display settings. Open the audience screen in the game and put it on the big display.

Stand at the back of the room. Check that the numbers and winning target are easy to read and that the screen does not block a walkway.

Check every sound

Connect your speakers and select the correct sound output in Windows. Test number calls, music, winner audio and your microphone.

Keep calls clear above the room noise. Check the music after connecting the display cable, as Windows may change the sound output.

Run the five-minute check

Try a short game. Call a number, pause, check a pretend winner and test a Booze Ball. If you use Stream Deck, test its buttons too.

Keep notifications quiet, plug in the charger and put your tickets, microphone and prizes within easy reach. Agree the venue’s ticket, prize and music arrangements before opening.
